Programme Highlight :

Disputes are not uncommon in construction projects, regardless of the project nature and magnitude. It often takes tremendous amount of effort and time to settle the disputes after the completion of the construction works, inducing significant financial burden of different scales to various parties involved in the projects.

With the legislation of security of payment in the pipeline, the culture for resolving disputes in engineering projects in Hong Kong is likely to enter a new chapter. Our speaker will share his experience and insight for handling construction disputes in Hong Kong by means of different mechanisms, with a view to providing some fundamental knowledge to our members for dealing with the anticipated challenges ahead.
