Programme Highlights:

“Shaw Brothers”, a golden label of film and by virtue of its studio system, swept across Hong Kong and Asian film circles and dominated the Asian film industry from the 1950s to the mid-1980s.

This presentation aims to disclose the story behind this mysterious veil.

During his student life as an amateur film enthusiast, the speaker had frequently visited and reported on the production core of the Shaw Brothers Studios. Later on after joining the newspaper industry, he could hardly miss any chance of focusing on this “Oriental Hollywood”.

亮點分享:

《邵氏》這塊電影金漆招牌，在上世紀50年代至80年代中，叱吒亞洲影壇，曾横掃香港及亞洲影壇，憑藉的就是片廠制度。

是次分享，試圖揭開這塊神秘面紗背後的故事。

講者作為業餘電影愛好者，學生時代曾屢次探訪及報道邵氏影城的製作核心地帶。於從事報業後，更不錯過關於這個「東方荷里活」的任何動向。

  • Confirmation notice and Zoom link will be shared with successful registrants at least 7 days before the date of the event.
  • An electronic CPD certificate will be issued to the attendees who joined the physical session or online with over 80% attendance one month after the seminar or webinar.
